Two lenses, one picture

The Imou Cruiser Dual 2 carries two 5MP sensors instead of one, and stitches what they see into a single spliced view. That is the point of it: one camera and one cable covering a corner where you would otherwise have hung two, or watching the gate and the driveway at the same time without choosing between them.

The detection is smarter than the others

Alongside motion, human and vehicle detection, this model adds Activity Zone and Crossing Line. Activity Zone means you draw the part of the frame you care about and ignore the rest — the street beyond your gate stops triggering alerts. Crossing Line means you draw a line and get told when something crosses it, in the direction you chose. On a busy road that is the difference between alerts you read and alerts you switch off.

At night

Warm white light and infrared both reach 30m, so you can choose colour or a discreet black-and-white picture. The 3.6mm F1.6 lenses give a 76° spliced view with 8× digital zoom, and there is a microphone, a speaker and red-and-blue warning lights for when you want the camera to be noticed.

Storage and power

Recording goes to a microSD card up to 512GB, which you supply — we stock a 128GB Imou card. Power is DC 12V 1A, and it is rated −30°C to +50°C.

Which Imou camera should you buy?

• Imou Cell 3C: the only one here that runs on its own 5000mAh battery and can take an Imou solar panel. 3MP, infrared night vision to 15m, and the widest view of the three at 95°. Pick it where there is no socket.
• Imou Cruise SC: mains powered, 5MP, and night vision to 30m with both warm light and infrared. The straightforward choice when power is available.
• Imou Cruiser Dual 2 (this one): two lenses at 5MP each, stitched into one view, plus Activity Zone and Crossing Line detection. For covering a wider area, or two directions at once.

Delivery and payment

Delivery is $4 inside Beirut and $5 everywhere else in Lebanon. Pay on delivery in cash, or by OMT or Whish. Every camera is genuine Imou and carries a warranty (period varies by model).
