I bought two, one in the yellow and one in the Red. The yellow is so bright and a very pretty glow. The Red is darker but still has a nice glow. They really work like the lava lamps of old. Beware they do get hot. I was surprised a bit, as it does get hot all the way down the stand. I set mine on a piece of granite. Not for young kids due to the heat.
